Nova was engaged to safely dismantle a redundant tower crane at the Amec yard, Wallsend. The works were planned around a live yard, with full lift plans, exclusion zones and a mobile crane support spread. The jib, counter-jib, slewing unit and tower sections were taken down in sequence, lowered to ground and prepared for onward transport and recycling.
